Why this new department?
Over the past two years, KHEOPS has evolved significantly and focused on developing its solutions to meet the needs of its clients.
In an interview, Stéphane PUJOL, Director of Cross-Functional Topics, explains that the company has now reached a significant size, making it essential to clearly structure all business processes related to its role as a software publisher.

It therefore follows logically that this work will be carried out through a cross-functional approach, involving all Kheops stakeholders in order to achieve our shared objective: the continuous improvement of our solutions and, ultimately, customer satisfaction.
The department is thus responsible for implementing methodologies and procedures that structure and document all company activities, ensuring their monitoring and optimization, and securing every stage of the production process (development, IT, communication, deployment, etc.).
What are cross-functional projects at Kheops?
In practical terms, these projects can take many different forms, but they all share a common requirement: they must be managed holistically across KHEOPS, with a multi-department and multi-client perspective, and in full alignment with the company’s product and corporate strategy.
They may involve large-scale client or internal infrastructure projects, innovation initiatives, and/or the management of complex development projects that require dedicated oversight, as well as quality structuring or product optimization initiatives.
As part of the structuring of the development and delivery process, for example, the implementation of new cross-team analysis and validation bodies, along with the documentation of business workflows, has enabled us to secure content and versioning processes, and therefore to better control the developments delivered to clients.
As a result, within just a few weeks and months, we successfully delivered two major versions of ClevEHR, including significant software enhancements and the release of numerous new features.
What is the purpose of this department?
Stéphane highlights the shared ambition to implement a quality-driven approach in order to structure and optimize internal processes and, as a result, increase customer satisfaction.
Within this cross-functional approach, the quality unit will also act as an internal consultant for teams and serve as an intermediary between the different departments.
Nathalie D’HULSTER, Quality Lead, explains that these initiatives will enable KHEOPS to move toward certification processes such as ISO 9001 (quality management and customer satisfaction), CE marking (European conformity), and ISO 27001 (data protection).
In the long term, this clarification of processes will also help mitigate risks, raise the quality of deliverables, and save time for teams.
