BERNINA Version: Optimization of your verification processes

As part of our ongoing quality-driven approach, the Bernina version has been released. This version is the result of significant work by our teams to meet the current needs of users.

The Bernina version now introduces new features designed to support healthcare facilities in their verification processes.

To optimize traceability, the Forms module now includes a validation feature through a signature field. Linked to the user account and ClevEHR access security, signature-based validation ensures that control actions are properly authenticated.

This feature is available when creating any form, allowing users to integrate it into all relevant contexts. For example, during a medical procedure, it represents a major advancement in tracking the verification of surgical sponge counts.

The signature field is linked to the user’s identity and the associated ClevEHR login credentials.

Each signature is unique per form tab, and a user’s credentials can only be used once per tab.

In addition, Bernina introduces enhanced form security through dual-signature validation, requiring two separate user accounts to validate a form.

Once all required signatures have been fully validated, the form can no longer be modified.

Bernina also brings major enhancements to billing management.

In our next article, you will learn more about developments related to care provider service chaining, designed to simplify the entry of care activities and services for billing purposes in hospital wards and operating rooms.
